When we buy Led-lampor, we will see that a series of parameters are printed on their packings. Actually most people don't understand what they mean, so we are going to make a brief introduction below.
Power is measured in watts, which reflects the amount of electricity consumed by an LED light in one hour. For example, a 50W LED light consumes 50W * 1H = 50WH in one hour. So the LED lights with higher power will consume more electricity.
This is the voltage required by the LED light when it is working. Different LED lights have different working voltages, including AC220V~AC240V (for most countries), AC110V~130V (mainly for American countries), and also wide-input voltage, such as AC85-265V (can be used in almost all countries). There are also some LED lights that use low voltages, such as DC24V and DC12V. Low-voltage LED lights are usually powered by adapters, solar energy or batteries.
The LED models we often see include 2835, 5730, 5050, 3014, 3030 and 3535, etc. These numbers represent the sizes of the LED chips. For example, the size of 2835 is 2.8mm*3.5mm. The size of 5050 is 5.0mm*5.0mm. General speaking, the LED chip with different size has different power and brightness, so different LED light will apply different LED chips according to its design.
Color temperature, also called correlated color temperature (CCT), defines the color appearance of a LED light. CCT is defined in degrees Kelvin. A warm light is around 3000K, moving to neutral white at around 4000K, and to cool white, at 5000K or more.
In photometry, luminous flux or luminous power is the measure of the perceived power of light. It differs from radiant flux, the measure of the total power of electromagnetic radiation (including infrared, ultraviolet, and visible light), in that luminous flux is adjusted to reflect the varying sensitivity of the human eye to different wavelengths of light.
Luminous efficacy is a measure of how well a light source produces visible light. It is the ratio of luminous flux to power, measured in lumens per watt in the International System of Units (SI). Depending on context, the power can be either the radiant flux of the source's output, or it can be the total power (electric power, chemical energy, or others) consumed by the source. Which sense of the term is intended must usually be inferred from the context, and is sometimes unclear. The former sense is sometimes called luminous efficacy of radiation, and the latter luminous efficacy of a light source or overall luminous efficacy.
CRI is short for Color Rendering Index, which measures the ability of a light source to accurately reproduce the colors of the object it illuminates. It is a score with a maximum of 100.
Power factor (PF) is the ratio of working power and an expression of energy efficiency. It is usually expressed as a percentage—and the lower the percentage, the less efficient power usage is. The LED lights are better with higher power factor.
Beam angle is simply the measurement of light distribution. A smaller beam angle results in little light distribution and a concentrated, directional illumination.
IP is short for Ingress Protection. Generally speaking, an IP label will take the format: IPXY, where X is the light fixtures protection against intrusion by dust and other solids and Y is its protection against water and vapor penetration.
X (or protection against solids and dust intrusion) ranges between 0 and 6; with 0 being the least protected and 6 being the most guarded.
Y (or protection against liquid and vapor intrusion) ranges between 0 and 8; with protection strength increasing as you move from 0 to 8.
The lifespan of an LED light is measured in hours. It is usually 30,000 hours or 50,000 hours. This is the lifespan in theory. It will be influenced by some factors of the environment, such temperature and humidity.
They are easy to understand, that is the temperatures required by an LED light in working and storing. If the temperatures are not in the ranges required, the lifespan of the LED light might be influenced.
Normally suppliers will provide warranties for their products. They are often from 1 to 5 years. If the LED light fails during the warranty period, the supplier will provide a new light or parts for replacement or maintenance.

"LED light" is a term that encompasses many types of Led-lampor. LED lights can be divided into inomhus LED-lampor och outdoor LED lights with different waterproof grades, but some can be used both indoors and outdoors. We should choose the right LED lights according to different needs. According to their shapes and functions, we have listed some common types of LED lights below.
LED bulb normally refers to the LED light with small volume and power. Its light body is little round and usually with E27, E26, B22 base, etc. According to the differences of their shapes and sizes, they can be further divided into many sub-categories, such as G45, A60, G125, BR30, G4G9, etc. LED bulbs are normally used for home lighting, or for small rooms, or for decorations. All the following lights can be called LED bulb.
LED rörljus is also often seen in our daily life. It is a tube in length 0.6m, 0.9m, 1.2m, 1.5m, 2m, etc. and usually made of plastic, glass or plastic+aluminum materials. LED tube lights are used in a very wide range of applications, such as offices, warehouses, parking lots, schools, supermarkets, stores, restaurants, etc.
LED downlight is also a very common type of LED light. According to its installation method, it is divided into recessed type and surface mounted type. Recessed type is installed in the ceiling, which is similar to the LED ceiling light mentioned below. Surface mounted type can be installed in both ceiling and roof. LED downlights are normally used in halls, hallways, kitchens, bathrooms, etc.
LED ceiling light, as the name implies, is mounted in the ceiling. It is a bit like recessed type of downlight, but in general, if its angle is adjustable, we call it a ceiling light, otherwise a downlight. LED ceiling lights are also widely used in halls, hallways, kitchens, bathrooms, etc.
LED spotlight generally refer to the LED light with small beam angle and long projection distance. In real life, the LED spotlights we talk about usually refer to GU10, MR16, GU5.3, MR11, PAR20, PAR30, PAR38, etc. They might be also any big LED lights used outdoors. LED spotlights are usually used for decorations to build atmospheres. They are widely in homes, galleries, supermarkets or some outdoor scenes.
The shape of LED panel light is like a flat panel which is round or square. According to its installation method, it is divided into 3 types: recessed type, surface mounted type and suspended type. According to its size, it is divided into big panel light and small panel light which we also call ultra-thin panel light. LED panel lights are also used widely, such as in kitchens, washrooms, offices, cafeterias, hallways, etc.
LED corn light has very high lumen and is usually with E27/E26/E40/E39 base. It is usually used with a lamp-shape and widely used in factories, warehouses, shopping malls and roads, etc.
LED strip ljus, also called LED tape light or LED rope light, is usually in low power and used for decorations. It can also be used outdoors because it can be made waterproof. It is usually used in bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, stairs, under cabinets/counters, buildings, supermarkets, shops, stores, cars, etc.
The flood lights we normally talk about refer to those what we see outdoors with wide beam angles. For those with narrow beam angles, we usually call them Spotlight or Spot Light. LED flood lights are used too widely and we can see them almost everywhere.
We are also too familiar with LED street lights, especially in cities. LED street lights are almost installed in all main roads and highways.
We may not often see LED wall washer lights. They are normally used in architecture lighting, washing the walls and making the scenes more attractive. The shape of LED wall washer light is like a bar and it is usually in length 1m, 1.2m, 1.5m, 2m, etc. They are widely used in buildings, bridges, apartments, towers, churches, etc. and are installed on the bottom or the top of the structures.
Actually LED linear light is very similar to LED wall washer light, but it is not for wall washer. It is usually used in big buildings and used to draw the outline of the structures.
LED point source is a small, round or square LED light which is used for decorations. It is usually used in large quantities and with a programmable controller. Through being programmed, it can generate a great many patterns and dynamic effects.
Because LED underwater light has to be used in water for a long time, it is usually made of stainless steel material and has a waterproof level of IP68 to prevent rust and corrosion. Some underwater lights are also called swimming pool lights or pond lights.
Solar LED light is a special type of LED light for it contains solar panels and batteries. It can be further divided into some sub-categories, such as solar street light, solar flood light, solar garden light, etc. During the daytime, they will be automatically charged and will be automatically turned on at dusk and last until dawn (if there is enough battery capacity). Solar LED lights are usually used in sunny areas such as the tropics and subtropics, as well as in areas with severe power shortages.

]]>Hur man ställer in ett trådlöst DMX LED Flood Light System?
After receiving our products, please check if all accessories are complete as below.
1. Every flood light fixture contains an antenna.
2. Controller kit (it contains an SD card, an AC-DC adapter, a USB cable and a remote control).
3. Wireless transmitter (it contains an antenna, an AD-DC adapter and a DMX cable).
Sometimes we will pack all accessories into the same carton. Please confirm with us.
The whole system mainly includes three parts: DMX-kontroller(with remote control), wireless transmitter and light fixtures.
The DMX controller and the wireless transmitter should be connected together by a DMX cable. The transmitter will convert the wired DMX signals to wireless DMX signals and spread it to all light fixtures. After receiving the wireless signals, each light fixture will decode it and show the corresponding color and effect.
1. Install the light fixture.
Our light fixtures can be installed on the floor, ceiling, wall or light pole.
The wires info of the power supply: Red is Live wire, Blue is Neutral wire, Yellow is Ground wire.
2. Install the antennas
There is a holder for installing antenna on the bottom of the light fixture. Please screw the antenna into the holder well by clockwise direction as the following picture. The antenna is foldable.

The light fixture will show the default color or last color when it is given power.
3. Install the controller
The controller contains an SD card which stores the default programs, an adapter and a remote control. Insert the SD card into the controller and connect all cables well.
4. Install the wireless transmitter
The wireless transmitter contains an antenna, an adapter and a DMX cable which is used to connect the controller. Install the antenna well and connect the transmitter and the controller together by the DMX cable.
Please note there are four dip switches on the back side of the transmitter. Set 1, 2, 3 down and 4 up as the following picture. Usually the manufacturer has made this default setting.
When you power up the controller and the transmitter, do not forget to push the power button on the back side of the transmitter. Its LEDs will blink after working.
After the controller and transmitter start to work, you can use the remote control to choose the programs. For example, press key 1 and press key PRG then the 1st program will be chosen. Before you use the remote control, please make sure it contains a battery inside. We normally take off it before the shipment. You can buy it in your local stores.
Following is our default programs with their serial numbers:
0. red
1. green
2. blue
3. white
4. yellow
5. orange
6. cyan
7. purple
8. red fading
9. green fading
10. blue fading
11. white fading
12. red/green/blue changing
13. 7 colors changing
14. shutdown

Som vår DMX-avkodare är utvecklad och producerad av oss själva, om du vill sätta adresser till vår DMX LED strålkastare, bör du använda vår speciella adressskrivare.
Vår adressskrivare har 4 nycklar. Följande är deras funktioner.
RD: läs startadressen för armaturen.
ADD+: öka adressen för att skriva.
LÄGG TILL-: minska adressen för att skriva.
LD: skicka kommando för att skriva adress.
Procedurerna för att använda vår adressskrivare:
1. Öppna höljet på undersidan av armaturen, du kommer att se en kontakt.
2. Koppla ur kontakten på baksidan av lampan och koppla in kontakten på adressskrivaren till lampan.
3. Vår armatur har fyra kontinuerliga adresser (RGBW-versionen är fyra, RGB-versionen är tre). Om startadressen är 1, är restadresserna 2, 3 och 4. Tryck på RD knappen på adressskrivaren får du startadressen till armaturen. Om du vill skriva nya adresser för armaturen, ställ in startadressen genom att justera knapparna ADD+ eller LÄGG TILL-, och tryck slutligen LD knapp. När du har skrivit klart adresser, vänligen tryck RD för att kontrollera om startadressen är korrekt.
4. Koppla bort adressskrivaren och återuppta den tidigare anslutningen igen. Annars kan den trådlösa funktionen inte användas.

Thick aluminum light body
The light body of the LED light bar is made of aluminum material. Its surface is polished and paint, resistant to corrosion and oxidation.
High brightness LED chips

]]>Hur man använder DMX 512 Controller Programming Software?
Our DMX-kontroller has SD card offline working model and PC online programming working model. In this post, we will introduce how to use our programming software and will give an example at the end.
Operating system requirement:
Win7/Win10, 32 bit/64 bit.
First, chain all the lights together by DMX cables and connect the first light to DMX1 port of the DMX controller. At the same time, connect the controller to the computer by USB cable.
The driver will be installed automatically when the system finds the device.
1> Click menu Lib Editor->Open Lib Editor.exe and a new window will pop up as below.
2> Select Color/PAR/Custom fixture type. Fill Fixture name, such as myfixtures. Set Total Channels to 3 (For RGB fixtures, it should be 3. But for RGBW fixtures, it should be 4).
On the field of Channel define, enable checkbox Enable RGB, and set Red Channel to 1, Green Channel to 2 och Blue Channel to 3.
3> Click tab Channel Description on the top of this window, set different icons for the channels as below.
4> Don't close this window and change back to tab Fixture Config, click Save Lib on the right bottom.
1> Click menu Add/Remove Fixtures(A)->Add/Remove Fixtures, a new window will pop up.
2> On the left field, choose myfixtures that we created just now, and click Add button on the middle. A new window will pop up.
3> Set the Number of Fixtures to Add to the actual quantity of the light fixtures(here we set 1 for example). Set DMX Universe is to 1 and DMX StartAddress to 1 as well(It should be according to the actual start address of the fixtures, normally the start address of our fixture is 1). And finally click Add button.
The fixtures' names and their addresses will be shown on the right table of the window. Finally click OK button.
After we add the fixtures, on the top left of the software, each channel will be shown as below (channel 1 is Red, channel 2 is Green, channel 3 is Blue). Now you can adjust the colors of the fixtures by adjusting the slide bars.
Now let us customize a scene for demonstration.
Demonstration Scene: RGB fading effect. Each color will be showing for 3 seconds, and the fading time for each color is also 3 seconds.
1> Set R :255, G:0 and B:0 by using the slide bars. On the field Time(Second), set the Keep time to 3 och Fade time to 3 too. Click Insert Scene button.
After inserting this sub scene, you will see it on the table that is on the bottom of the software.
2> Set R :0, G:255 and B:0 by using the slide bars. On the field Time(Second), set the Keep time to 3,and Fade time to 3 too. Click Insert Scene button. You will see the sub scene 2.
3> Set R :0, G:0 and B:255 by using the slide bars. On the field Time(Second), set the Keep time to 3,and Fade time to 3 too. Click Insert Scene button. You will see the sub scene 3.
4> Let us click Play button to run the scene, you will see the effect of fixtures.
5> Save the scene finally.
The file name should be 000 to 999. It will be added with postfix .shw. You can copy this file to the Show folder on the SD card of the controller. And you will be able to choose this scene by using the remote control of the controller when it runs in the SD card offline working model.
Tips:
If you have multiple fixtures needed to be set with the same color, you can use Group Control function.

Som vi har introducerat funktionerna för DMX-kontrollern och dekodern i det sista inlägget är styrenheten kontrollcentralen för hela DMX-systemet och den kommer att skicka DMX-signaler till var och en DMX LED-ljus. Efter att ha tagit emot DMX-signalerna kommer dekodern på varje lampa att omvandla dem till råa elektriska signaler och beordra ljuset att visa färg, justera ljusstyrkan eller köra specialeffekter. Du kan använda styrenheten som erbjuds från tillverkarna eller köpa den själv. DMX-kontroller är universella och kan användas för alla DMX-enheter. Men de är fortfarande olika liksom deras motsvarande programmeringsprogram om från olika leverantörer.
I allmänhet tillhandahåller vi följande DMX-kontroller som standard.
Vår kontroller stöder maximalt 512 kanaler. Den har följande in-/utgångsportar:
2 DMX-portar: DMX1 kan konfigureras för ingång eller utgång; DMX2 är endast för utgång.
1 5V USB-port: för ingång, främst för att försörja ström och överföra data när den är ansluten till dator.
1 RS232-port: används ej.
1 RJ45-port: används ej.
Vår kontroller integreras fortfarande med ett SD-kort och har en fjärrkontroll. Vi kommer att presentera hur du använder dem nedan.
Vår styrenhet har två arbetsmodeller: SD-kort offline fungerande modell och PC online fungerande modell. Styrenhetens SD-kort ska användas när den är i SD-korts offline-arbetsmodell, medan styrenheten ska vara ansluten till datorn med USB-kabel när den är i PC-online-arbetsmodell.
Styrenheten kommer att välja SD-kort offline fungerande modell om den inte är ansluten till datorn. Det är också den modell som våra kunder använder mest. Vi har redan förberett ett SD-kort med några standardprogram inuti åt dig. Kontrollera dessa program nedan. Genom att köra dessa program kan lamporna presentera några grundläggande färger och ändrande effekter enligt nedan.

Du kan också kopiera de program som du gör av vår programmeringsprogramvara till SD-kortet. Du kommer att märka att varje program har ett nummer, till exempel 001, 002, 003... Nästa steg är att sätta in SD-kortet i styrenheten som följande bild.
När styrenheten börjar fungera kör den standardprogrammet som vanligtvis är 001.dsw. Så vad ska du göra om du vill välja andra program? Vid den här tiden måste du använda fjärrkontrollen av vår kontrollant. Innan du använder den bör du se till att den har installerats med batteriet eftersom vi vanligtvis tar av dess batteri innan frakt (batterier är vanligtvis inte tillåtna i försändelserna). Till exempel, om vi vill välja program 002, måste vi först trycka på knapparna 002 eller 2 och sedan trycka på PNG-tangenten uppe till höger. Om du anger fel nummer kan du använda knappen OK eller STOP för att avbryta det.

Ibland kanske du upptäcker att du inte kan välja ett program framgångsrikt och du är inte säker på om det har kommunicerats till styrenheten framgångsrikt. Här är ett tips: LED-lampan på kontrollenhetens baksida blinkar när du trycker på knapparna om fjärrkontrollen har kommunicerat med kontrollenheten framgångsrikt. Med detta tips kan du lättare ta reda på orsaken till problemet.
Generellt sett är de flesta kunders krav inte särskilt komplicerade. De kräver bara några normala färger eller växlande effekter. Standardprogrammen på vårt SD-kort har varit tillräckliga för att uppfylla deras krav. Så vanligtvis använder de bara SD-kortets offline-arbetsmodell för vår kontroller. Men det finns ett fåtal kunder som är bekanta med DMX och till och med använder andra DMX-kontroller tidigare. Om de vill styra färgerna eller programmet själva bör de använda PC-modellen online.
Om du vill använda PC online-arbetsmodellen, bör du ansluta vår kontroller till datorn med USB-kabel. Efter att systemet har installerat drivrutinen automatiskt och framgångsrikt kan du öppna vår programvara för att styra lamporna. Hur man använder vår programmeringsprogramvara? ]]>Vilka är funktionerna hos DMX-dekoder och DMX-kontroller?
Det har vi nämnt i ett annat inlägg en LED-lampa består vanligtvis av 3 delar: LED-chips, LED-drivrutin och hölje. Men DMX LED-ljus är speciellt, som fortfarande innehåller en inbyggd DMX-avkodare. Dessutom måste alla DMX LED-lampor som tillhör samma system fungera med en extern DMX-kontroller.
Så, vad är funktionerna för DMX-avkodaren och styrenheten?
Låt oss först titta på ett riktigt foto av en av våra DMX LED strålkastare.
Vi kan se att det finns två drivrutiner (på toppen och botten) och en dekoder (i mitten) på baksidan av lampan. Två svarta kablar ut från drivrutinerna leds till dekodern som har tre utgångskablar – två svarta kablar och en vit kabel. En svart kabel är för DMX-ingångssignal medan den andra är för DMX-utgångssignal. Och den vita kabeln är ansluten till LED-chipsen för att ge dem ström och styrsignaler.
Så, den DMX-kontroller fungerar som en kontrollcenter av hela ljuset. Den tar emot de externa DMX-signalerna, avkodar dem till ursprungliga elektriska signaler och styr beteendet hos LED-chipsen – på/av, färger och ljusstyrka, etc. Och den kommer också att vidarebefordra DMX-signalerna till nästa DMX-enhet.
De DMX-avkodare från olika företag är olika. De kan också köpas direkt från den vanliga marknaden. Vår DMX-dekoder designades och tillverkades av oss själva, som är stark och går mycket stabilt.
Å andra sidan, vad är funktionen för DMX-kontroller?
Vi har känt till att dekodern är kontrollcentret för helt ljus. På samma sätt är kontrollenheten kontrollcentret för hela DMX-systemet. I allmänhet har ett DMX-system bara en kontrollenhet som styr beteendet för varje lampa – på/av, färger, ljusstyrka, etc. Vanligtvis är kontrollenheten programmerbar och den har inkluderat några standardprogram i sitt minne. Genom att köra dessa program kan lamporna visa några grundläggande färger (röd, grön, blå, vit, etc.) och ändra effekter (blekning, hoppa, blinka, etc.). Lamporna kan visa mer komplicerade färgeffekter genom att programmera styrenheten.
Fråga: Måste jag använda din handkontroll om jag köper din DMX LED-lampor?
Svar: Inte riktigt. Därför att DMX (hänvisar vanligtvis till DMX512) är en standard. Alla DMX LED-lampor eller kontroller stödjer denna standard så att du kan använda andra DMX-kontroller istället. Så medan du köper våra DMX LED-lampor, rekommenderar vi vanligtvis att du använder din egen kontroller om du har en bekant, då kan du undvika att spendera för mycket tid på att lära dig vår kontroller.

]]>Vilka fördelar kan du få genom att använda LED-lampor?
We all know that Led-lampor are energy-saving. Even with very low wattages, they have been very bright and can meet our requirements. Actually there are still many benefits by using LED lights. Let’s check them below.
We have mentioned that LED lights are energy-saving above. They can save at least several times of energy than traditional lights such as incandescent bulb, halogen lamp, fluorescent lamp, high pressure sodium lamp, mercury lamp, etc. For example, a 5W LED bulb is equivalent to a 40W incandescent bulb. That means it only consumes 1/8 power! The following is a comparison table of LED lights to traditional lights for your reference.
The lifespan of LED lights in theory is 50,000 hours. But it is very hard to reach such a long lifespan in practice. Because the lifespan of LED lights will be influenced by the temperature, humidity and the way people use LED lights in real environment. But a good quality LED light can be used at least 3 years or 5 years, even 10 years! It is cool, isn’t it?
Normally the prices of LED lights are a little higher than traditional lights, but their wattages are lower so you can pay less for electricity. And as we have mentioned above, LED lights have a very long lifespan, then you don’t need to replace them often. So you can save a big cost in the long run.
Too dim or too bright light and blue light will do harm to our eyes. By using proper color temperature and dimming function of the LED lights can make our eyes reach a comfortable level. On the other hand, LED lights don’t flicker, which will protect our eyes in some extent. We can avoid blue light when we select correct color temperatures. For example, in many libraries 4000K or 5000K color temperature is adopted, because they are the closest to the sun light.
A lot of traditional lights contain harmful chemicals. For example, compact fluorescent light contains mercury which not only pollutes environment but does harm to human body as well. The more compact fluorescent lights are used, the more mercury chemical are accumulated. This problem doesn’t happen on LED lights, and many parts of LED lights can be recycled.
For the same kind of traditional light, its color temperature is difficult to customize due to the limitations of its light-emitting material. But this is very flexible on LED lights. It is easy to customize warm white (2700K-3200K), neutral white (4000K-4500K), cold white (5000K-5500K/6000K-6500K) or special color temperatures ( RGB, 25 000 K, 2200K, etc) for LED lights.
Most traditional lights are made of glass which are easy to damage if dropped onto floors carelessly by people. But most LED lights are made of plastic, aluminum or stainless steel materials, there are no worries even they are dropped onto floors. Only a small part of LED lights contain glass.
There are many troubles when we use traditional lights. For example, when we install fluorescent lamps, we still need to install extra ballast and starters for them, but most LED lights are very easy to use. Except for lågspännings LED-lampor, most LED lights can work under city electricity directly without any extra components.
There are still many benefits by using LED lights, so we are not able to list them one by one here. But we need to learn the special features and notes of the LED lights when we use them, then we can make the most of them.
